The NordVPN app is available on most major operating systems like Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS and Android TV.

To install the app, you need at least 19 Mb of free space and the installation process is simple and quick. After the installation the app will update automatically when updates are available.

The NordVPN desktop app tries to stand out from other VPNs by using a map system to establish your connection. While this looks good it’s very impractical to click on a map to choose a server. However, you can also connect to different servers using the bar on the left-side of the screen app.

Depending on the servers you’re connecting to the results are inconsistent. That being said, you can still find a server with acceptable speeds. As you can see, in our speed the download speed dropped from 488.92 Mbps to 233.51 Mbps and the upload speed went up a little bit, from 23.99 Mbps to 24.13 Mbps.
